County Agricultural Investment Program

On-farm Energy Efficiency & Production

This investment area offers assistance to producers for the adoption of a proactive and systematic approach to incorporating energy efficiency into the farm operation, production of biomass crops, or production of alternative energy for on-farm use.

This investment area is part of CAIP and requires the submission of the CAIP Application by an eligible Program Administrator, as well the county council priority sheet (.doc, 40 KB).

Only for applications approved by the KADB in 2011, regardless of agreement date.

Energy Bonus Incentives:

The KADB has approved Kentucky Agricultural Development Funds to be available for a program similar to the 2011 American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) On-farm Energy Efficiency & Production Assisistance program. Details of this program will be announced after the January 2012 KADB meeting.
